Lucy had an allergic reaction to something and broke out horribly in hives. The doctor gave her something in the ER that made her totally loopy. Her words to this photo was "like my new hat?" this is why you will find an acorn cap on the mermaid's head. If there isn't one there when you visit, would you please put one on there.?
*** Recently after a windy storm I stopped by Lucy's grave to make sure all was still intact. Sure enough there was her acorn top... on the head of the mermaid. Thank you for the kind soul that saw this post and put one back on there. Much love, Laura
